Casting Director Workshop

Service Description
An in-person workshop at our Waterloo studios with Emma Sylvester. Get the chance to receive advice and individual feedback from an industry-renowned casting director. You will work with Emma for 3 hours in an intimate class-setting. Emma has worked extensively across film and television casting for the last nine years, five of which she spent in house at the BBC cutting her teeth as an assistant before working as a Casting Director on its flagship shows. In the summer of 2024 Emma joined forces with fellow CD Jessica Jefferies and together they have cast projects across multiple genres including animation, AAA video games and theatre. Emma has a passion for nurturing talent at its grassroots and is thrilled to have recently joined The Anna Fiorentini Foundation as a Trustee. Emma is also a Probationary Member of The Casting Directors Guild of Great Britain. Emma's work to date includes: Canned Goods (Southwark Playhouse) Northbound Boy (Kings Head Theatre) 2 AAA Video Games, Casualty, Doctors, Father Brown, Sister Boniface Mysteries, Shakespeare and Hathaway, The Canterville Ghost, , The Snow Maze (Short) (winner best short and the London Independent Film Festival 2017).
Cancellation Policy
We are a small business so cancellations and no-shows are impactful and deprive others of the slot. For ONE-ON-ONE sessions you can cancel up to 24 hours before the appointment for free. For WORKSHOPS we accept cancellations up to a week before the session. Notice given after this period will be eligible for a 50% refund. Unfortunately we cannot issue refunds after 48hrs notice. We are of course understanding of particular circumstances and will always endeavour to re-schedule your appointment.
